You're coming to Las Vegas for the Sunset Jazz Series. What can audiences expect when they see you perform? Yes.

Well, I've got a brand new album out. It came out a couple months ago. It's called Electric, and we are having so much fun touring the country, playing these new tunes. We got a song out right now that's I feel so fortunate to say blowing up the charts. It's called Power Move. It's one of my fastest charting songs ever. So we're doing a bunch of new music. Of course, we're gonna throw in the hits and and we're gonna do some old school as well too. Get people up dancing. So it's gonna be a blast.

Awesome! You've developed such a recognizable guitar sound, Adam. What first inspired you? Yeah,

you know that's a great question. I get asked it a lot. Is I found my parents' record collection. It wasn't extensive by any means. They might have had 50 vinyl and a handful of cassettes, but somewhere in there, the guitar it really spoke to me. And I just remember four or five years old, begging them for a guitar. They finally relented, and I started actually piano first at eight, and the guitar at nine. And to answer your second question, I know exactly how I got into contemporary jazz. When I was 16, the drummer in my high school band made me a mixtape, and on that mixtape was breezin' by Jordan Benson, and it just completely blew my mind, and I've been hooked ever since.

You know, Las Vegas has such a diverse music audience. What is it about performing in a city like Las Vegas? Yeah,

well, there are incredible jazz fans in Las Vegas, and fortunately, for the last couple years now, we've been able to make it a a regular tour stop. People know the music; they listen to it, and it sure doesn't hurt to have KUNV. You guys are so supportive. You're spinning the music in the market, and it's been great to interface with you guys there and drop in, do interviews, and you guys plug the shows. So, I mean, it's it's like it should be. We have a fantastic station in the market. We're doing shows, and people are coming out and supporting.

Definitely, that's what. Finally, when the audience leaves the show Saturday night, what do you hope they take away from the music and the experience you and your band have created.

Well, I hope they take away some of our merch because I do not want to bring all of these CDs and vinyl back to Los Angeles. So, but no, I mean, but seriously though, yeah, I just I want people to have you know the best evening they possibly can. I want them to to laugh, to cry, to dance, you know, to feel something, and I try to hit all those emotions, and then hopefully, yeah, would would love to get a chance after the show to meet them. Some people just come up for pictures, of course. We we won't fight you if you want to take take some records home with you, but we're having a lot of fun with that too. By the way, I I made a commitment back in 2020 to start printing vinyl, and I've now done my last five albums in vinyl. And we bring them with us to every show. We have them on sale, and it really reminds me of how I got started in the music industry. And people are having fun with it. We've had a lot of people say they, you know, when they bought my record, that made them go buy a record player. So you know, we're bringing it back. All
